THE REVISION OF CUMULATIVE SPECTRA OF BETA PARTICLES FROM U, Pu AND U FISSION PRODUCTS BASED ON THE UPDATED MEASUREMENTS OF THE RATIO OF SPECTRA U/Pu

Abstract
Based on new measurements of the ratio of cumulative spectra of β-particles U/Pu, performed at the Kurchatov Institute (KI), the cumulative spectra of β-particles fission products of U, Pu and U isotopes have been updated. The presented β-particles spectra U, Pu and U KI are compared with similar spectra measured at the Institute Laue–Langevin (ILL), and the spectrum of β-particles U KI – with the measurements performed at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). It is shown that the ILL ratio of β-particles spectra U/Pu is mistakenly overestimated by ≈5.4%.
